OK It's laundry day and something's been bothering me week after week. My son is very active in sports and I have to expect the dirt and stains, but it seems like even though the stains are gone, my son's t-shirts still smell like beef stew/B.O. in the pit area. My son thinks he has a "sweating problem". He's been using prescription-strength anti-perspirant. I've switched detergents, I've used both liquid fabric softener and dryer sheets. The beef stew pits persist.
I'm not Justin Timberlake, so I can't afford to just throw away his t-shirts after they've been worn once and buy new ones.
Should I: rub my son's face in his beef stew pitstains and swat him with a newspaper? or silenty stew and be glad his pits don't smell like rotting halibut?
