Never done one of these things before. I assume this is something/someplace in which I'd just write things on my mind etc.. for the world to see and share?
I wrote something long ago (back in late 90s) might have been under influence of a few substances at the time and going through a lot of things and shared it with a good friend of mine whom suggested I get it published but I'd first like to just pop it up on here for others to read, interperet and understand :-)
It seemed like yesterday
But was so long ago
You left my life so fast
Left me all alone
Never knew what to say
Never had the time
Wish I had one more day
Now live it in my mind
Could’ve gone to see you
Just the other day
Didn’t know that yesterday
You did just pass-away
Time in the entire world
To fool around and play
Wish I could go back
And change my selfish way
If only had one more day
To see you all again
Guess it’s goodbye ‘til next time
In the next world I’ll see you again
My friend
I guess it's quite sad.
